New Delhi: Star all-rounder Yuvraj Singh is closing in on a return to active cricket after undergoing treatment for lung cancer earlier this year in USA.

“Good day today Got my blood report and scan report !! I`m in good condition !! I`m so happy to lead a normal healthy life time to celebrate,” Yuvraj posted on his Twitter account on Monday.

The southpaw is nearing full fitness and reportedly took part in a fitness drill at the National Cricket Academy in Bangalore. He was joined by his fellow teammate Ishant Sharma who is recuperating after undergoing an ankle surgery.

The stylish lefthander took part in a practice game hitting Ishant for seven sixes.

“Me and ishant playd a 4 over tennis bal match He hit me for 6 sixes but I won the game by hitting the 7th six of his last bal Hard luk ishi” he had posted on Twitter last week.
