New Delhi: Micromax has released its new Android smartphone called the ‘Punk’.

The A45 Punk runs on Android 2.3, also called Gingerbread, powered by a 650 Mhz processor. The smartphone carries an 8.89 cm capacitive touchscreen and a 1300 mAh Li-ion battery, promising a talk time of 4.5 hours.

With the Punk Micromax introduces AISHA, a SIRI-like voice recognition software. The phone also comes with a 2 MP camera and memory expandable to 32GB.

Launched on Tuesday, Micromax A45 Punk is available in two colours – white and black and priced at Rs 5,499.
