India on Tuesday declared their first innings at 631 for seven against West Indies on the second day of the second cricket Test at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata.

Resuming at 346/5, VVS Laxman was unbeaten at 176 and R Ashwin was not out at four. Skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni scored 144.
