Overview

For Autumn Winter 2022, the essence of Wales Bonner manifests artisanal knitwear, magical evening wear and technical sportswear. Togetherness draws inspiration from the radical creativity of avant-garde jazz trumpeter Don Cherry and his wife the artist Moki Cherry. Based in rural Sweden during the 1970s, the Cherrys also traveled widely during this time, creating ‘organic music’ performances in both indoor and outdoor settings, transformed by Moki Cherry into profound spiritual environments adorned with the vibrance of her hand-made tapestries and wall hangings.
