Overview

After the end of the War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea, General Feng Shi, who had made great military achievements, received a mission from the Central Committee and led a heroic army into the Gobi Desert. At the same time, scientist Lu Guangda who returned from the United States hurriedly said goodbye to his wife Wang Ruhui. Various scientific research institutions and key universities also selected a large number of outstanding talents and rushed to the northwest desert. The Soviet experts withdrew, the scientific and technological means were backward, the materials were extremely scarce, and three years of natural disasters, one after another unimaginable difficulties came one after another.
