Bill Berg
Biography:
Bill Berg was born in Tacoma, Washington. He began his profession by studying at Chouinard Art Institute in Los Angeles before joining Disney's animation department in 1938 as an apprentice. After working his way up to assistant animator, he moved to the story department in 1943 and began writing and sketching Donald Duck cartoon shorts. Within Disney, he was also a prolific writer. He was behind several of the Jiminy Cricket educational features such as How to Have an Accident in the Home (1956) and 'How to Catch a Cold'.
