Werner Hollmann
Biography:
Hollmann received his acting training from Otto Brahm and began his stage career in 1900 as a trainee at the Deutsches Theater in Berlin. Then he performed in Freiburg im Breisgau , Libau and Beuthen . In 1904 he was back in Berlin, where he received an engagement at the Lustspielhaus in the fall of 1905. Other Berlin stage stations were the Theater on Königgrätzer Strasse , the Theater on Nollendorfplatz and most recently the Theater on Schiffbauerdamm . He acted in classical and modern plays, especially by August Strindberg and Frank Wedekind .
