Biography:
Peter Julian Robin Morgan CBE (born 10 April 1963) is a British screenwriter and playwright. He has written for theatre, films and television, often about historical events or figures such as Queen Elizabeth II, which he has covered extensively in all major media. He has received several accolades, including five BAFTA Awards, two Primetime Emmy Awards, four Golden Globe Awards, and nominations for two Academy Awards, a Tony Award and a Laurence Olivier Award. In February 2017, Morgan was awarded a British Film Institute Fellowship.
