Biography: Robert Hutton (born Robert Bruce Winne; June 11, 1920 – August 7, 1994) was an American actor. Robert Bruce Winne was born in Kingston, New York, and he grew up in Ulster County, New York. He was the son of a hardware merchant and a cousin of the Woolworth heiress Barbara Hutton. He attended Blair Academy, a small boarding school in Blairstown, New Jersey. Before he ventured into films, Hutton acted at the Woodstock Playhouse in Woodstock, New York for two seasons. His film debut as Robert Hutton came in Destination Tokyo (1943).
