Srishty Rode Biography

• Srishty Rode is an Indian television actress and a reality TV show celebrity. She started her acting career with a short role in Balaji Telefilms's show, Kuchh Is Tara in 2007 and also went on to appear in TV commercials. Rode first came into limelight with the show Yeh Ishq Haaye. She is a contestant on the reality show Bigg Boss 12 that airs on Colors TV.
• Family Background:- Rode was born and raised in Mumbai, India. Her father, Tony Rode, was a cinematographer in Bollywood. Her mother is a practicing Buddhist.Rode used to wear braces as a child. With an interest of being an actress since childhood, while growing up she used to try on various outfits and imitate a fashion show making her parents and sister her audience. She said in an interview, "I used to go to film shoots with my father, as he was a director of photography, and I used to look at actors and wanted to be one of them." However, later on, she realized her father was not supportive of her in choosing acting as a career. Inspite of no support from the connections her father had in the film industry, Rode did not give up her dream of becoming an actress. In 2007, while she was in the first year of her college, she was auditioned by Balaji Telefilms for the TV show Kuchh Is Tara for a short role.
• Personal Life:- Srishty Rode is engaged to her long-term boyfriend actor Manish Naggdev, who she met through a common friend. The two have been dating for over three years and share the same birthday. Rode's hobbies include swimming, singing, playing football, and she considers herself a "shopaholic".Rode suffers from a sleep disorder, somnambulism or sleepwalking, a medical condition characterized by walking or doing other activity while seemingly asleep.She lives in an apartment in Mumbai with her parents and two pet dogs named Tiara and Troy.
