As the world gets ready to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the sinking of the ship, The History Press will be releasing on the Titanic App in honour of the ship’s unforgettable voyage. A hundred years after RMS Titanic struck an iceberg and sank on 15 April 1912, the tragedy of the
ship’s maiden voyage continues to fascinate people world-over. Now, a new app will revive the memories and give a new insight into the ship’s history and features
The app will not only provide access to rare archive footage but also include narrated survivor accounts.
“The app includes knowledge collected from many of the world’s leading Titanic experts. It includes rare archive footage, details and photographs of the ship’s construction, a sinking timeline and “Did You Know?” facts, interactive deck plan, detailed biographies of the ship’s key features, contemporary films, and a wide range of photographs from every stage of the ship’s life, Mashable reports.
While the price of the app has not been disclosed, it will hit the App Store on March 12.
